Xfinity WiFi Hotspots App Reviews

This app is always the #1 battery user even when I dont use it. Since it doesnt update its database in the background, it shouldnt be using up the battery. Sloppy programming! Comcast updated the app twice recently and battery drain is still terrible. I called support and they pretended I was the only person experiencing this. A year later and problems have not been fixed.

Like most Comcast/Xfinity products, it promises big and delivers small. Sometimes it works, but most of the time its so slow that its not worth it. Oh well.

I have used this app only a few times and it worked great so far!

Battery monitor reported this app drained my battery 38% in 12 hours even when not used. Tech support said there is no way to disable it and recommended uninstalling because it since it is just a locator function. So I did.

This app kills my battery

I think its great

When it connects to wifi the connection is so slow I have to manually disconnect and use LTE. Which defeats the whole purpose why are the speeds slow as molasses? Apple should pull this garbage from the App Store.

I thought downloading this app would help get better Wi-Fi with Xfinity really disappointed you pay so much for Comcast you would think they would provide you with good services you need to improve fix this app to get a better rating

Comcast screws its customers with an app that doesnt work and crashes. Comcast tech support knows it doesnt work and tells customers not to use it. Come on Comcast with all the money I pay you every month why not hire some good programmers who can write an app that works?

Whats all the negative hubbub? This app just works. It saves me data use by telling me what I need to know...where the hotspots are.

Horrible app: Inaccurate advertisement of hotspots. Exaggerated displays of participating owners. Totally misleading. Have been trying-out and testing this Comcast WIFI app for nearly a month, and never once had been able to connect or locate a useable hotspots. Should have given this app a zero star rating had the ranking allowed to do so. Hey Comcast, can you be at least be honest like McDonald or Starbucks.

Its nice to know who Comcast customers are ... Rarely can I get wifi when Im out walking. I can not see the point

Spinning ball of death continually

Easily finds the hotspots when there is one available. Of course theres not always one around but they add more all the time so Im frequently on one. I like how it automatically hooks up.
