Xfinity WiFi Hotspots App Reviews

Comcast, Xfinity. You know its junk.

For comcast being a major conglomerate company you would think theyd have a more Wi-Fi spots to pick up the signal and get there together for the amount a money they make ...this app needs a lot of help n more wifi signal

While the map gives all the locations, the hotspots themselves provide very poor connectivity. And the app doesnt really help increase the chances of getting good coverage.

Why why can not find wifi any where. Out town for a whole week with know Internet. This is a mess and Im paying for this

Absolutely the most terrible service I have ever encountered... Incompetent staff and "on hold" time is unbelievable. They are a joke not close to a communications company... Steer clear!!!

This has no point to it it is the worst app even worse than flappy bird I thought this would give you hotspot but no it tells you where hit spots are and to get off your lazy butt and get that wifi

Soon we wont need cell towers and will have wifi almost everywhere we go!

The connection around me is very weak so my apps and movies load very slowly so maybe you all can improve on the connection and then Xfinity wifi will be #1

Great, absolutely love it!

Havent used it a lot but I am able to connect to other wifi hotspots. Live in Florida and was able to have wifi from someones place when I visited my daughter in Tennessee who has no services of her own at her house.

I dont understand all of the harsh reviews out there. The point of the app is not to give you free wifi, it is to show the people that pay for xfinity internet where hotspots are. Overall decent app but the only reason I dont give it five stars is because they give only the option to either never or always allow location services.... It should definitely be an option to use it only while using the app. Fox this and you have five stars from me

Update: dont know if my previous review had anything to do with my old iPhone 4. Upgraded to a 6S+ and the prior issue is nonexistent. Works perfectly fine for me! Latest firmware update has caused some problems. Every time I open the app, it says "Map Unavailable" and "Location Unknown". Can you fix this please. OëT2 BNK

I dont think most people understand how to use this app. When you download the app, you never even need to get on it. Just download the app, go to your settings, go to "Wi-Fi" and click on "Xfinity Wifi." The first time you do it youll have to sign in but it wont take long at all. The app works fine. I really like it.

This app is worthless and never works. It pops up needlessly when already connected to another wifi. A map shows up time an again with no options. Navigation is very poor also I will delete from iPad and phone.

It has worked very well.
